It is not about our actions, for what we do always follow what we believe. For us, it is about fighting against the wrong beliefs we have about God or people or circumstances around us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We are also keenly aware that what keeps us together as humanity is to believe in unity and resilience to overcome the adversity around us in the current climate surrounding us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">My prayer is that when you look at this art that I have created, you will always have faith in humankind and be reminded that God fights alongside us.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #800080; font-size: 14pt;\">Gethsemane<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, \u201cSit here while I go and pray over there.\u201d &#8230;Then He said to them, \u201cMy soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.\u201d (Matthew 26:36-38)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Whenever I read this portion of scripture, I simply cannot imagine what went through our Lord\u2019s mind. Gethsemane means oil press and how apt that it is at this place that the LORD was \u201cpressed\u201d on every side, exceedingly sorrowful.\u00a0 Yeshua, He is also the all-knowing God. Thus, Gethsamane was not only on His mind that night, it was a destiny He knew once He is of understanding. This artwork depicts how in Yeshua\u2019s whole life, His destiny to be \u201cpressed\u201d, scourged and to die for us weighs on His mind.\u00a0 And the start of that cup begins in the Garden of Gethsamane.
