THE STARFISH STORY – IT MATTERS<\/span><\/p>\n

This painting is a sequel to the Starfish Story by Loren Eiseley. \u00a0It was about a child on a beach picking up and throwing back starfishes which were washed up by the sea. \u00a0An old man told the boy that his act would not really make a difference since there were thousands of starfish on the shore. \u00a0The boy picked up another and threw it back to the sea. \u00a0Turning to the old man, he smiled and said, “It makes a difference to this one!”\u00a0 The old man went back, gave a thought to what the boy had said and then returned to the beach and also started to pick up a starfish and threw it back to the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

A little kind act may not seem significant in a world full of troubles, but IT MATTERS to that one person who receives your kindness.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
