The fruit hawkers took a break on Sunday, secured their wooden carts safely using iron chains and went home to have family gatherings. Wooden carts expressed the hard work of the fruit hawkers. The orderly arrangement and colours in harmony worked very well with the combined effect of light and shadow. This made a peaceful scene full of holy day mood. This painting was invited to join the Olympic International Watercolour Exhibition held in Seoul in 1988.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”8655″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]

*Private collection

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”8660″ img_size=”full” alignment=”right” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]

*Private collection

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Living Wood
1988
Watercolor
56x76cm

A heap of abandoned wood was piled up like a mountain.
