Artist Lee Kwong Tim was born 10 Dec in Hong Kong and lives in Hong Kong
He studied Illustration at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and received a Honorary Doctorate in Art Management from Sabi University
He has had 21 solo exhibitions in the USA, Canada, China, Netherlands, China ,Japan , Germany and Hong Kong and 22 group participations in Taiwan, Italy, and Hong Kong, His works belong to private and public collections in many countries.
He is an awarded artist. He is a member of the following associations:

The Hong Kong Exchange Square was completed in 1985. In 1986, the developers invited British artists to design two bronze buffaloes. It is designed as a gentle buffalo standing on the water because water implies wealth and the gentle appearance represents the introverted character of the Chinese. The addition of two buffaloes implies good things come in pairs.
These are two sculptures of buffaloes located at the Forum between Exchange Square and the IFC shopping mall. They are bronze sculptures of British sculptor, Elisabeth Frink, who was acclaimed for her figurative sculptures of human males and animals.
You can find Water Buffalo I Standing (1988) and Water Buffalo II Lying (1987) situated in an elevated pool which cascades down to the outdoor garden area

There are two bronze lions placed in front of the HSBC head office. The one had its mouth roared was “Stephen” , a name derived from Alexander G. Stephen, the Chief Secretary of the Hong Kong Head Office from 1920 to 1924, and the casting of bronze lion came from his proposal.
Another bronze lion, called “Stitt” , was named after Gordon H. Stitt, the director of Shanghai HSBC in 1921.

The tree on Bonham Road was removed to ensure public safety reasons by the Head of Tree Management Office. However months later, it was found that chopped trunks were sprouted with new leaves.
The vitality of this old tree is estimated medium to medium high.
It is possible that this old tree continues to survive as its roots still hold large amounts of nutrients.

Slate Street, better known as Pottinger Street, is named for its bumpy slate,and it appeared as scenes in many movies. It is a Grade One historic building, and the stalls on both sides add a lot of local cultural characteristics to this historic street.
Pottinger, the first Governor of Hong Kong, named the street in 1858 in his honour.

Grilled squid with charcoal is one of the popular snacks in Tai O. The old man who burns squid, puts the whole piece of squid in the cooking net, and then coats it with the secret sauce, reverses cycle a few times, and then cuts away the burnt part of the edge to complete the delicious squid.
