Ruth Ng Lee Gek, a contemporary artist of Singapore had her first solo public show at the Singapore’s National Museum Art Gallery in 1977 and many shows since in Singapore and once overseas in Indonesia. As a life-long Art Educator for making art alive in the community, painting is her joyful playground of unstoppable adventures and actions. Her current solo exhibition this year featured 12 acrylic paintings of “The Ocean Song” hosted by the Baptist Book Café, 01-25 Goldhill Plaza Singapore where anyone in the community can walk in to enjoy a conversation on her art stories at the café art gallery over a cup of coffee or tea.
