1983	Studied and graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Hubei Academy of Fine Arts with Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art.
1983	Hubei Provincial Cultural Bureaus
1995	Associate Professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts
2002	Lecturer (Part time) at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art

Awards

1984	Participated in the 6th National Art Exhibition and awarded bronze medal award at the 6th Hubei Province Art Exhibition
1990	Awarded the Second Prize of Collecting and Identification of Hubei Folk Arts and Craft
1993	Awarded merit Prizes at the Hubei Art Exhibition
1997	Participated in National Youth Water Colour Art Exhibition and awarded the artistic award (First Prize). Artwork “Noon” was collected by China Artist Association.
2006	Prize winning water color piece “Noon” sold at International Auction Li Bo (Beijing) Co. Ltd’s auction
2019	Awarded Western Arts – 1st Prize Oil Painting “ Jurong Fishery Port” at 38th Dr. Tan Tsze Chor Art Awards Exhibition
